NEP Production System is upgraded from 6.0 to 6.5 on 03/15/2013.

Here are the Background Jobs which are checked in NEP after Upgrade and are working good.

Below are the Post Go Live issues which are reported and our recommendations:

Solution Analysis and Recommendations

1. Deliveries were not created for STOs.

Issue: Deliveries for an STO is not being created and the error message is thrown "No Stock is available for Stock Transport Order" but the stock is available.
Below is the screen shot showing the error.

Analysis: This is a program error. This issue is not triggered in NECNEQ and it was working good in NECNEQ.
SAP has recommended to apply the below notes.

In our Analysis we have replicated the issue in NECNEQ.
As per the Note when ever any sales order is open in VA02 or locked and if we are trying to create the Delivery for an STO we are getting the error.
The Note 1813632 is very much similar to the issue we replicated and informed to implement this Note.

Solution:
Implement the OSS Note 1813632.

2. Product Hierarchy Level 7 and Level 8 are not seen in materials in NECNEQ and NEP 6.5

Issue: The Product Hierarchies Level 7 and Level 8 are not seen in the Material Master. This issue only seen in NECNEQ and NEP 6.5 not in NECNED.

Analysis: In our analysis and understand that for level7 (PRODH7) of product hierarchy length of characters only 1 instead of 3. To correct this issue there is a transport (NEDK922199) created by JOHHU in NECNED but not moved to NECNEQ and NEP 6.5.
So to resolve this issue we need to create one more transport as the transport created by JOHHU is old Number.

Solution:
Recreate the Transport similar to the OLD Transport NEDK922199 change the characters to 3 from 1 for PRODH7

3. Cut Pieces are not exploded in Planned Order for few materials

BOM Explosion is not happening and cut pieces are not exploded and in production order components are not exploded.

Solution

4. Double Production Orders are generated for single Requirement.

Issue: Double production orders are generated for one line on an order. Below is the example shown:
Order # 100646259 is Tecod, How are two orders generated for a single Sales Order is the Issue..

Analysis: There are two production orders generated for the requirement SO 1833911.
1000640273 which is created on 03/03/2014 and it is put to TECO on 03/06/2014 and it was un Teco on 03/19/2014.
In the gap hence there is no proposal for the SO Demand, MRP has generated a Planned Order which is converted to
Production Order 1000646259 on 03/14/2014.
When they un Tecoed the old Production Order 1000640273 Double orders were seen.

Solution:
TECO any of one Production order and continue working with the single production order.

5. ME2O Transaction dumped.
Issue: When a delivery created using ME2O with multiple materials to send the materials to a subcontracting vendor a dump has been occurred
Short Dump while creating outbound delivery to issue components to vendor in subcontracting.
Below is the screen shots which is showing the ME2O SCREEN

1. Create Delivery by selecting all the Items:

If we create the delivery by selecting all the Items then it is going to short dump, below is the screen shot which shows the Dump.

2. Quantities not populating in the ME2O screen.
Stock quantities are not populated in the ME2O screen; it is populated if a delivery is created for one item.

Analysis: Dump is occurred when all the Materials are selected and a delivery is created.
Found a OSS Note 1342514 for the issue. It is valid for 6.5 version but the correction instructions does not exist in the OSS Notes for 605.
Hence the Issue is forwarded to SAP.

Solution: SAP has extended (6.4) correction to 6.5 of OSS Note 1342514, they have changed the version of the OSS Note from 2 to 3.
Implement the OSS Note

After Implementation noticed that the Dump issue is resolved but the quantities are not populated by default in the delivery created.
SAP has asked a document with the example; attached is the document

SAP has suggested to implement the note 202578, Quantities have defaulted.
